Qualifications:
- High School diploma or equivalent
- State Certification (Certified Tech Position Only)
- Basic understanding of computer use in processing prescription orders
Responsibilities:
As a Certified Pharmacy Technician at Waynesboro Apothecary, you will:
- Prepare and organize pharmacy medications based on patient orders
- Support pharmacists in providing distributive pharmacy services
- Actively perform pharmacy technician functions with proficiency in standard work parameters
- Facilitate medication safety practices, identify potential errors, and contribute to continuous learning in pharmacy practice development
- Collaborate with pharmacy staff, care providers, and Pharmacists to optimize patient care and services
