What is Medication Synchronization?
Medication synchronization, or med sync, is a free service that lets patients pick up all their ongoing prescription refills on one convenient day each month. Similar to a doctor’s appointment, you can collect your medications on a set date and discuss any concerns with our pharmacists. Managing multiple prescriptions can be challenging when refills are due at different times. Med sync aligns your prescriptions so they all run out on the same day, eliminating the need for multiple pharmacy visits. This service saves you time, fuel, and stress, allowing you to focus less on refills and more on living your life.
How does it work?
Each month, a team member will process all your regular medications, addressing any potential issues well before you run out. If you prefer, they’ll contact you five to seven days before your scheduled date to check for any changes and confirm your pickup. When your prescriptions are filled, our pharmacist will review them for potential drug interactions that might be overlooked with staggered refill schedules. Adherence Packaging
What is adherence packaging?
Adherence packaging is a helpful solution for managing your medication regimen, ensuring that you or a loved one takes each dose every day at the correct time. Do you find it challenging to keep up with filling pill organizers? Or maybe you forget whether you’ve taken your morning medications halfway through the day? If so, adherence packaging could be an excellent option for you. This system provides clear labeling, showing exactly which medications to take and when. With convenient perforated sheets, you can easily separate a few days’ worth of doses for travel or divide your morning and evening medications for easier storage.
How does it work?
Just like our refill service, we’ll handle all of your ongoing prescription refills on one convenient day each month. If you take over-the-counter vitamins or supplements, we can include those in your packs as well! Your medications will be packaged in individually labeled, dated, and color-coded pill sheets, making it easy to stay organized. Your monthly medications will be ready for pickup on your scheduled date, and the dated blister cards help you keep track of when the next pack is due. Our software empowers you to manage your prescriptions through the Rx Local app. With in-app messaging to connect with our pharmacists, the platform lets you refill prescriptions from your smartphone, update allergies, contact details, and insurance information. Hospice
We work closely with local hospice care organizations to support you or your loved one’s medication needs during this challenging time. From the initial fill of as-needed medications at enrollment to the ongoing supply of maintenance medications, we collaborate with nurses and doctors to ensure all medication needs are met promptly. We handle the billing, processing, and delivery of medications so you don’t have to worry about the logistics. We stock many hard-to-find medications to provide exceptional care for our hospice patients. Hospice deliveries are prioritized, ensuring medications are delivered directly to your home.
